back at 1985 i get this album,.,.fuck what can i say priest?????? its just great am a metalmaniac,.,.since i was a teenager,.,., am 43,.,., still rockinnnn
@bigblue162 Already done... but I left a little room for Maident and Sabbath. I can't make it through a single day of school without listenting to metal, the dumbasses are too much to handle.
Dear God, this brings me back to a point, a time in my life when on one hand I was surrounded by friends, but when the night come down I was violently alone with dark princes who too where alone in despair.......Oh dear god!
I'm 19 years old and rockin out to priest. I try and expose my generation to this music, but unfortunately the poison of lady gaga and all the other pop culture shit has infected them.... wish i could've seen priest back in the day but i will see them next year. \m/ \m/
Yeah man im 14 too and i listen to a share of new thrash bands. But other than that the classics are always there. I really hate when posers at my school will see me with like an iron maiden t-shirt or something and are just like "Nice gay ass screamo!" Some people dont know what they are talking about haha and i tell em to fuck off and stuff but anyways this is the shit! Long live Heavy Metal.
@goardface i do not like screamo or hardcore music. I like death metal but that is not screamo or hardcore and takes a lot of skill to play. Some people think death metal is screamo but its not. Just sayin

The first album Priest played in its entirety (not all at once, of course). I think that says a lot about this album. I hope it gets the same treatment British Steel got when it hits its 30th Anniversary.
QUE tema!!! que sonido ese albun, tiene ambiente, clima...! tremendos 80¨ la version remasterizada tiene un audio muy bueno, a... que violeros! esto si es Heavy Metal!
In the last rays of the setting sun And the past days, that's where our memories run And all of those times Still race through my mind I'm shattered inside to find When the night comes down And I'm here all alone When the night comes down There's nowhere to go Call me and I'll wait till the summer You never understood That I'll wait forever For love that's only good As the light starts to dim The fear closes in And the nightmares begin
I am 13 years old and Judas Priest is my favourite ban along with other classic Metal artists, the music of today is sadly not music I don't even bother to turn on the radio for that I don't like to listen to pollution. It's truly and inspiration that Priest is still rocking it out and they are all around 60!!!! I'm just sad that I can't sing as godly as Halford!!!!
young rockers like you make old metalheads like me proud. Priest and Maiden are the best of the metal years, and both kick ass still. Keep it up, pollutionless!!!!!
no matter how hard any new metal bands try, they will never be able to capture the sort of beauty a Priest song can make. Justin Bieber, and all the rest are a waste of time in the music world. Crap like this needs to come back for one more round and kick the shit out of any new band. Besides, can any new band out there create the epic sound of metal while still being able to bring a tear to your eye? I think not
Judas Priest, like so many artists from the 60s, 70s, and early 80s, were geniuses when it came to sound production. That is a lost art now. I love the subtle wail after each "When the night comes down." It is haunting and beautiful. Too bad our world is now immersed with Justin Bieber.
20 years ago I used to look at a sunset on one certain pier and listen to this song over and over again.. Dreaming of one certain girl.. knowing that I didn't stand a chance against my rival, concerning her.. (He was handsome, clever and rich. I was only handsome and clever..)
I can imagine you there with your leather jacket, hands in your pockets.. Silently screaming at the sun, how unfair everything is. Metal keeps us alive, brother. And in the end we're winners.
i loved this album..my dad belonged to a record club and bought it for me back when it came out in '84. he liked that i was so into music like him and always let me pick out an album or two for myself. this song was by far one of my favorites.
@sistabutt70 I was 12 back then and this album put me on my way to real metal...Wow that was long ago and even do now Rob as aged and so have I this album will always be here..A classic as much as any of Elvis's or the Beatles! So there you go
@erickus36 Those were the days, and the music i truly miss..my son makes fun of me bc he tells me i always listen to 80's music, but just can't tolerate most of the stuff out now(not what i'd call music, anyway)..but i do appreciate music of all kinds, but metal will never die!
@weewoo1010 you are a wise youngster..bet you wish you could have been 14 then..they were truly great times, so many concerts that you could actually afford to go to! priest, maiden, ozzy to name a few. unfortunately those days are long gone, but the music will live on!

This is a great ballad by Judas Priest. They are one of the few Heavy Metal bands in the world that can make ballads sound bad-ass.
