  • @bigblue162 Already done... but I left a little room for Maident and Sabbath. I can't make it through a single day of school without listenting to metal, the dumbasses are too much to handle.

  • This is a great ballad by Judas Priest. They are one of the few Heavy Metal bands in the world that can make ballads sound bad-ass.

  • So beautiful

  • Love the weird timing on drums during the bridge.

  • Dear God, this brings me back to a point, a time in my life when on one hand I was surrounded by friends, but when the night come down I was violently alone with dark princes who too where alone in despair.......Oh dear god!

  • Lyrics... Yea@you dip stick!

  • This song can be replayed over and over... Rob really sang his heart out on this one- its such a Powerful song - nothing short of perfect....

  • I can see hog hannah in the eyes, nobody could touch him, love that part Call me and I'll wait till the summer

    You never understood

Call me and I'll wait forever

For a love that's only good......I always say pure instead of good.

  • Amo esta canción, es magnífica, es perfecta!!!!!

  • 50s-90s were the best time period for music. If only we had a time machine...

  • @AcdcRocker5115 couldnt say it anymore truthful than you did brother

  • @AcdcRocker5115 Amen!!!

  • GO PATS! ;-)

  • Close your eyes, let Rob's voice echo through your mind, cradle your soul, and stand your hair on end.

  • LIVE ON FOREVER IN US.DEFEND THE FAITH ROCKERS!!!!UNITE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm 19 years old and rockin out to priest. I try and expose my generation to this music, but unfortunately the poison of lady gaga and all the other pop culture shit has infected them.... wish i could've seen priest back in the day but i will see them next year. \m/ \m/

  • @AmarilloJack I like this band they are one of my favorites. You will enjoy listening to them.

  • Yeah man im 14 too and i listen to a share of new thrash bands. But other than that the classics are always there. I really hate when posers at my school will see me with like an iron maiden t-shirt or something and are just like "Nice gay ass screamo!" Some people dont know what they are talking about haha and i tell em to fuck off and stuff but anyways this is the shit! Long live Heavy Metal.

  • @BxT4POUTxP screamo is about talent and hard work. your boys there must like what I call shit gargallers, it take very little skill.

  • @goardface i do not like screamo or hardcore music. I like death metal but that is not screamo or hardcore and takes a lot of skill to play. Some people think death metal is screamo but its not. Just sayin

  • Judas Priest rules!

  • yes i love this song, love the album. but this was entirely my pick..too much metal for my dad, i think.

  • Hail Judas Priest! nice fucking song ='( !

  • Ok, so I've had a few beers but....I have been dealt the cards of a lonely life and I can't help fight the tears that escape my eyes.

Wow what a great song. Thanks Priest

  • @218ismyIQ I hear you brother

  • Major vocals with passion

  • I just noticed the patriots logo on the shoulders of the figure on the album cover

    See above. Go Pats

  • I just noticed the patriots logo on the shoulders of the figure on the album cover

    See above. Go Pats

  • that album is awesome!!!

  • ...good night..where ever you are..........

  • great as always!!!

  • @ kingtom

I highly doubt that will happen although it would be awesome. But they'd be to old. or worse.

  • The first album Priest played in its entirety (not all at once, of course). I think that says a lot about this album. I hope it gets the same treatment British Steel got when it hits its 30th Anniversary.

  • @kingtom The only thing I love off of British Steel is Breaking the Law. Now Defenders is a whole different story.

  • 26 years old and it still holds up.

  • This song sends shivers down my spine. every single time.

  • ...One of the slow motion songs of Priest...

  • In the last rays of the setting sun And the past days, that's where our memories run And all of those times Still race through my mind I'm shattered inside to find When the night comes down And I'm here all alone When the night comes down There's nowhere to go Call me and I'll wait till the summer You never understood That I'll wait forever For love that's only good As the light starts to dim The fear closes in And the nightmares begin

  • If you needed to introduce anyone to metal, this is the best album ever to do it with. This is the best of the best!

  • I like it.

  • that monster on the album cover is ford tough

  • I am 13 years old and Judas Priest is my favourite ban along with other classic Metal artists, the music of today is sadly not music I don't even bother to turn on the radio for that I don't like to listen to pollution. It's truly and inspiration that Priest is still rocking it out and they are all around 60!!!! I'm just sad that I can't sing as godly as Halford!!!!

  • @nbakiki23

young rockers like you make old metalheads like me proud. Priest and Maiden are the best of the metal years, and both kick ass still. Keep it up, pollutionless!!!!!

  • no matter how hard any new metal bands try, they will never be able to capture the sort of beauty a Priest song can make. Justin Bieber, and all the rest are a waste of time in the music world. Crap like this needs to come back for one more round and kick the shit out of any new band. Besides, can any new band out there create the epic sound of metal while still being able to bring a tear to your eye? I think not

  • costa del sol

  • I miss the 80's...the music, the attitude ,the chicks and the money. in that order. lol and money grew on trees back then

  • @Syntarro Damn. I wish I knew what the 80s were like... : /

  • This song is soo full of emotion. The lyrics gives me the cold shivers cuz it really gets to me! Rob's voice is GREAT!!

  • Epic record! The tour was amazing as well!

  • Judas Priest, like so many artists from the 60s, 70s, and early 80s, were geniuses when it came to sound production. That is a lost art now. I love the subtle wail after each "When the night comes down." It is haunting and beautiful. Too bad our world is now immersed with Justin Bieber.

  • 20 years ago I used to look at a sunset on one certain pier and listen to this song over and over again.. Dreaming of one certain girl.. knowing that I didn't stand a chance against my rival, concerning her.. (He was handsome, clever and rich. I was only handsome and clever..)

  • @haihattelenpahanvaan

I can imagine you there with your leather jacket, hands in your pockets.. Silently screaming at the sun, how unfair everything is. Metal keeps us alive, brother. And in the end we're winners.

  • @degergard Dude, that's the best comment I have read on YouTube, amen Metal FOREVER!!!!!!!!!

  • in the first chorus is not "And there's no place to go " the correct sentence is "And there's nowhere to go"

  • nowhere = no place

  • Beautiful!

  • Thank you thank you very much you are very pretty kisses engineer

  • 'that i would wait forever'

instead of 'call me and il wait forever' :)

    top song anyway.

  • "Call me and I'll wait till summer, You never understood

That I would wait forever, for a love thats only good"

its eitehr call me or hold me

  • Awesome song

    awesome lyrics

    =D

  • One of my favourites!

  • i loved this album..my dad belonged to a record club and bought it for me back when it came out in '84. he liked that i was so into music like him and always let me pick out an album or two for myself. this song was by far one of my favorites.

  • @sistabutt70 by far my most favorite on this cd.Your dad has good taste in music.

  • @sistabutt70 I was 12 back then and this album put me on my way to real metal...Wow that was long ago and even do now Rob as aged and so have I this album will always be here..A classic as much as any of Elvis's or the Beatles! So there you go

always been in metal always will be!

  • @erickus36 Those were the days, and the music i truly miss..my son makes fun of me bc he tells me i always listen to 80's music, but just can't tolerate most of the stuff out now(not what i'd call music, anyway)..but i do appreciate music of all kinds, but metal will never die!

  • @sistabutt70 I'm 14,and I live on the metal from the 80s.

I listen to alot of new metal and stuff, but this is the best stuff around.

    \m/_

  • @weewoo1010 you are a wise youngster..bet you wish you could have been 14 then..they were truly great times, so many concerts that you could actually afford to go to! priest, maiden, ozzy to name a few. unfortunately those days are long gone, but the music will live on!

  • @sistabutt70 I saw Priest in Mcnichol's Arena in Denver, one of the greatest nights of my life.

  • @30342041124x7 i've seen them a couple of times..great times that i will never forget
