I remember this in my teens, the scene, the music, very touching moment, im in my 30's and i still appreciate it. some cartoons come and go, some have that lasting effect. growing up watching 80's and 90's american cartoons and anime, definitely the best era for cartoons in my opinion

This makes me cry. Rini might be a little pain here but later she's so much better (in my perspective). She's only a kid I don't get it why people pick on her. I saw this same part in Japanese and it wasn't the same. I like DIC dubb music for this to be honest. But in the Japanese one Serena and Darien ask thems "Why do I feel so peaceful like this?" instead of what they thought here. So DIC did take a lot of stuff out. Anyone know where I can see this in Jap with english subs?

Rini is a character I'm kind of inconsistant about. She may be a little brat sometimes, but I've got to admit, in scenes like this, she is rather huggable. A little girl who just misses her home and her mummy and daddy; anyone can empathise with that a bit.

@hole1991 She was a lot easier to like in the original Japanese version. The English dub gave her a terrible, whiny, nasal voice for the second season and also rewrote her lines to make her sound more bratty.

In the third season they found a perfect English voice actress and did better with the translation, and English fans started liking Rini a little more.

Too bad they couldn't have had the good voice actress and good writing for the R season, which imo has Chibiusa's best moments.

The music almost made me cry! I don't care what anyone says, the DIC music had its bad point, but it also had some pretty amazing pieces of music too!! I sure wish I could have this piece, but I know that thats asking a lot these days~ Still, it's nice to hear after all this time~

Oh i couldnt agree with you more. Dic did some really good music, for the show. Despite teh fact they did some shitty dubbing and chopping up the story. Couldnt say we blame them cos this was sudpose to be for kids at the time. Anyways just glad they did something RIGHT for the music parts :) Which i like BETTER then orginal O.O(for some parts of the show).

I hate to blow your bubble but I really doubt Toei will allow it, according to wiki and other sites I have read that Toei will not allow any more printing of the dvds of Sailor Moon. Toei want too much money for it. I would love to see it happen even Stars were dubbed that would be cool Especially if they can get the voice actors from the R series especially Terri Hawkes (Serena 2nd) and the one who did Amy's voice. I don't care who does Darien's as long as it either Toby or Vince.

yeah I heard it from SMA (sailor moon abridged) that it was true and... they're planning to do all five seasons if it is picked. ;) And all those going blah blah blah it isn't going to happen, well.
