I want to add vegetables like peas?which stage do i add it?for both boiled n raw? N what gasmark is 200?..alsoo..if i want to add cheese? Sorry to bombarde u with q.s ..im a newbiie bt wanna try it out :D
Hello :) I've tried this with 1/2 Cream of Mushroom and 1/2 Cream of Celery...AWESOME!!! Thank You Ever So Much! Also Found if You are Doing Chicken substitute 1/2 Cream of Chicken for the Mush Soup! Add Spring Peas (canned) and Your Chicken with some Parmesan Cheese! AWESOME! Huge Huggz!
i recommonded pre cooking the pasta and then adding the sauce (with some cheese mixed through) and then baking it till golden brown on the top. that way the pasta is cooked and you also get a juicy yet crunchy dish. :))
at my house we used jarred mushrooms , cream of mushroom soup , peas , and cheese in and on top of it , sooooo gooood ! and chunk light tuna in water*
yepper i tried this tuna dish..its really good my wife and kids loved it!!! only problem i had with it was that they didnt believe i had made it};0 your the shephards pie ws great as well.......i m from canada and your metric measurements work out fine.love your vids, keep up the good work!!!!
Just curious, could you forgo the fresh mushrooms + cream of celery soup and just use cream of mushroom soup instead? I personally LOVE mushrooms and celery, so I probably wouldn't do this myself (using your recipe as is instead) but it could make for even greater savings by killing two birds with one can... errr... stone. lol I was also thinking about the mushrooms being the only potentially 'pricey' ingredient or out of season, or cream of celery soup being harder to find than mushroom.
just watching you videos makes me want to make it. which I did and it was awesome. at first it was a disaster but on the second try it came out perfect. thanks
It's olive oil that has had garlic soaking in it to add extra flavour. Think of it as Garlic-Flavoured Oil. It's available ready made from the Cooking Oil section of the Supermarket ;)
The sauce is watery at first, then the excess liquid is absorbed by the pasta when cooking. When cooked, the sauce is thin, but no thinner than say Carbonara Sauce. Try it - it's delicious.
Wonderful meal for the kids..since they love pasta..and you can substitute as you say, turn around and add other veggies..thanks..I just love your videos..hugs from rhode island
Just a small request. my mum once made this amazing burger. It was a lamb burger, with cheese in the middle of the actual burger. Annoyingly she has forgotten what cheese she used :( Do you reckon you could make a lamb cheeseburger??
Sounds like something we make in Australia, called a "Rissole" - it's similar to a hamburger but can come in all sorts of flavors. I think I could make a cheese-filled Lamb Burger. It's on the list ;)

is the sauce after cooking thick? it looks a little watery but looks good ^_^
robert11111 2 years ago

OnePotChefShow 2 years ago
I think it looks to water-ey..
I dont think adding the 7 cups of water is a good idea.
I think it would be better to cook the pasta seperately then add..
Thoughts?
joseff121 2 years ago
It's not watery - that's the sauce. You need the water to cook the pasta. You can cook the pasta separately, but then you need to change the sauce.
