Sure, go to the official website of Ubuntu, click on 'Ubuntu Netbook Remix' and download the image. Burn the image on a CD/DVD and boot up your machine with that CD/DVD in your drive. Make sure that you've selected the correct medium in your BIOS to boot from. And then you just basically follow the instructions on your screen.

Very slick! Any special drivers or anything to get the touch working? I know the new version of the UME which comes with Ubuntu 9.04 NBR has touch screen calibration built in.
How do you enable touchscreen support in UNR?

I see that the on screen keyboard takes the whole screen on this demonstration. I guess it can be resized, right? is it xvkbd ?

@PERIG22: It's not xvkbd for sure, but it looks like the KDE plasma onscreen keyboard. Odd...

I'm not sure what to call it, but is there any way to get that "applications menu" to show up in the normal version of ubuntu?
I think the "touchscreen" version of it looks better than the standard one.

Did you manage to make the sound buttun work ? Because we have this issue with our eeetops under linux.
(We had also an issue with opengl but we fixed it).
