@latintiger Much like Super Robot Wars, I think it's probably just too complicated and expensive for the distributors to get the legal rights to use all the characters outside of Japan.

JUMP should make another game! it's about time that they updated the characters, and added new manga to the game, especially nurahihyon no mago, rosario vampire, Beet the vandel buster, and they need to update reborn.

The only other anime-related things I really have on the DS at the moment are the Code Geass RPG and Super Robot Wars W, but if you have a more specific suggestion, I might still be able to get ahold of it.

I personally think the graphics are superb but that's only because I'm sick of the 3D craze that's going on. I miss the old days of 2D platforms and large pixels.

Yeah, I don't object to the graphics being 2D, it's more just that I thought the look of the game wasn't as impressive as either Bleach game or the DS Guilty Gear.

Also, the combat CAN be pretty deep, if you know what you're really doing. I mean, Kenshin 5 Koma for example can go B -> B up -> Y up -> Air B -> Air Y -> X, without even using Supports.

You mixed up Helps and Supports XD

But really, the AI is absolutely terrible, most seasoned players can take on 3 AI opponents on a team, and barely take any damage. The game just isn't the same unless you're playing online. I would suggest trying to get Wi-Fi enabled, and then go to GameFAQs, and to the JUS board there, there's lots of players and there's also other new players so you wouldn't instantly be facing vets that could kick your ass in seconds (no offense XD).
