Tho whoever stated that singes are deeper-sounding:
Actually, it doesn't matter if a yoshi setup was a single setup or dual cans...it would sound the same as far as deepness of sound. The single setup would be louder, though....not necessarily deeper.
orlandosv1000 did you read the section "how to break in an engine" in the owner's manual? or just know how to break in an engine if you didn't do it right and just rode the shit out of it that could lead to a few problems just throwing that out there
hey guys i got a sv1000s 2007 and at890 miles da engine gt mest up they had to replace da two heads cylinders pistons and alot of shit after 3 months i gt back den i put 8oo miles more and it gt fuck upp again it was turning off on me so what might b da problem.?
Im new to the bike world! So the SVs will sound deep no matter what exhaust is put on? I was listening to other bikes and their exhausts and theres is more whinny. Also, what is the difference between vtwin and a four? Can an SV get that whinny sound?? Thanks guys!
The SV1000 will always sound awesome and deep with a pipe kit due to its larger v-twin motor configuration. It won't sound like a ricey I-4 sport bike ever... the nature of the engine.
My buddy had RC 51 with JARDINE 2-1 and sound was almost same. It's better with 1 muff. Turbolover's175 opinion is right. BTW this is really GOOD sound of a V-twin, but it's not Testastretta... :-)
Yoshimura! Wonderful! Who wouldn't Yoshimura on his (ok girls... her) bike? Can't think of anyone. :) But I think it's the first time a see a 2to1 on a V-twin. Is that common? I mean that on V-twins I've seen only 2to2 (stock and even aftermarket) till now.
then its probably the dual muffs. twice the muffling means half the sound. If you want great sound on a SV, take the muff off! gives you that motoGP look and it sounds like a Vance & Hines drag bike!
Dunno what rev range you mean when talking about your SV, but if you blip the throttle at very low RPM (2K or so) it will sound deep. Notice when in the video the revs go up higher, it isn't as deep anymore.

It's your lack of typing ability. Learn to type correctly and the problems should go away.

did you have to change something in the fuel injc? did you put a new computer or anything?
adamsv1000 4 years ago
how do you get it have such a deep sound like that? I have dual bolt on yosh.
ace636 4 years ago
ace636, it sounds deep because it's a V twin. I'm assuming you have a Kaw 636, which of course is a four.
turbolover175 4 years ago
Oh no I used to have a 636 its just that my sv1000 doesn't sound as deep as this one does.
