Gear ratio's changed etc. Also..SS's come with the LS3 in TR606 form and the auto's(L99)is rated at 400hp with the tapshift. Never has it came with an LS7...yet. ZL1 get the LSA and if the Z28 makes a comeback, it might have a built LS3 or 7. The COPO Camaro is out for testing currently. No idea where some of you all get the info from. LS1tech people

I think the SS comes factory with an LS7 or LS3. Bone stock with 420 hp? Bigger tires, better gear ratio and some bolt ons can make it from running 13.0 to mid 11s easy
