enjoying the video's. I'd just like to add that as far as realism goes bc1 is more realistic then bc2 and in some cases bf3 in regards to parachutes. no helicopter today aside from the black shark has a ejection system. your parachute is literally that shiny m9 in your holster

Most of the stuff that was taken out of BC series wasn't a loss since the guns were the same. Plus MC's class system was bad for consoles since consoles don't support the same amount of players.

The BC series added a bunch of new mechanics to the game, and that's far more important than new guns and vehicles that are practically the same. If all DICE did was add new weapons and maps, they'd be just as bad as COD.

@BirdManCinema I'm saying backflips with a helicopter is just a hilariously ridiculous concept. Its fun and entertaining to watch, but I don't see that as being real useful in any situation. I can just see a bunch of teammates camping the heli spawn thinking, "I'm gonna do SO many flips!" Only to watch them fly away, turn over, then ram into the ground. I think that is more funny to watch than being successful, and it keeps the heli-junkies to a minimum.

I disagree with this, unless that was just toward the parachute issue (parachuting out of a heli isn't that realistic anway...) If you make things too convenient for players, then that's a problem. A player should play and earn up to the difficult tasks such as flying. If something is overly convenient to one, its a disaster for another.

@OriginalPongster Helicopter easily do back flips in real life BTW. Also IDK if you played BF2 on PC, but you can do barrel roll and back flips...that means BF3 will definitely have similar physics! I CANT WAIT TO DO BACKFLIPS!

@BirdManCinema And No, I don't play on PC because I can't afford the machine and maintenance that it requires to tune up for newer releases every 3-4 years or so. Still In college. I have a graphic laptop that can do the recent Medal of Honor on Medium settings, but that's pretty much pushing it. Used to be PC until I got Modern Combat / PS2 and then went back to PC for 2142 then got a PS3... So, probably 3-4 years yet down the road till I can hop back onto the PC. Do prefer it, just can't.

Thank you, you summed up everythign i didnt know about modern combat. To bad they are going to shut it down soon was thinking off trying it just for fun.

Now i think alot of things where cut down on bad company to actually fit on the consoles so they could put in destruction and all that. Now i dont play console anymore but it would add upp for everyone if a new gen console can show its ass soon, its holding us back alot.

They never did update the stat bars for BC2 for the patches, but at least they were right originally unlike CoD's which have never been trustworthy.

bc1 is the best console game ever in my opinion :) blow things up ect. u can do that i bc2 to but not ass fun ass in bc1! then the maps where awesome! much better than those in bc2. then the vip map pack 7 came i was really happy but i think that harvest day was turned from good to worse :( but oasis was stiil funny.

I understand what you're saying, about how being a newer Battlefield game, it should have been better than the previous one (Modern Combat,) but everyone has to remember that Bad Company 1 was trying to start up a new series, and it was the first game in this new, innovative series. I think that, considering it is the very first game, like how BF 1942 was a first game, Bad Company 1 did a very good job.

Are you seriously complaining about the award winning HDR sound engine of BF:BC1?

I never heard a better soundscape in an other game than in BF:BC 1 and 2. There is something seriously wrong with your samples in this video. That's not what i am hearing, when i play the game. Not at all.

I really like the concept of the HDR sound, which DICE implemented in their sound engine. They released a very nice presentation about this on their homepage. Pretty interesting stuff.
