Sony is now lying 2 us saying we can't have it. They have given us a nasty ultimatum out thin air. After advertising was done some programmers & scientists bought their systems bcuz of this feature & now Sony is forcing an 'update' that merely removes the ability 2 to install 'Other OS' or we lose the PSN is we don't. This applies 2 models b4 the first slim in sept 09 whes this magical choice started 2 disappear

right. what emulator do you use? Since Vista (or any version of Windows after NT 4, or Mobile) doesn't run on anything else than a standard PC, you have to use an emulator. Which makes the OS dang slow on a machine with 512 MB of RAM.

PCs are now passing past what the PS3 is capable of. A cheap quad core processor, cheap ram and a 260 which is dead cheap for a card of it's calibre.

but you have to understand that its not all about the spec, its also about the infrastructure. yeah sure you can have a quad core and beat the ps3 is sheer speed, but no one needs that king of speed in the first place. the cell is (i think) the only proccessor that has a 8 synthesizer.

OK ! GO to you PC and get a os CD like. (Yellow Dog Linux) and mack a cd of it off your PC then GO to your ps3 then go to (OS) then put the OS CD you copy or put in a window cd in .
