  • AMAZING TNX SO MUCH

  • i don't sharpen my pencils i click them :) any one else use various mechanical pencils instead of the antiques :)

  • @glassryu Alot do, I prefer Mechanical Rotrinc 2B mechanical drawing pencils, I really need the fine point when sketching.

  • @glassryu me

  • @glassryu I do, haha, I mostly use them because they never get dull :D If I've got an idea I like to keep going, not stop to sharpen ): Especially because I like things to be detailed, which small lead is great for (:

  • It's taking me a year. Not two or three days. Im doing it the DC way!! NOOOOOOO

  • @Nirvezz LOL!

Really now.. im not really sure if doing it the marvel way will reduce the learning curve to 2 - 3 days.. BUT MAYBE!

  • @101Xtina You're welcome.

  • Burne Hogarth's books and work obviously influenced the socalled marvel style of drawing characters.

  • Loved the original book. I was shocked to find out that there was NO ACTUAL DRAWING in any of these videos. It's basically a narrated slides presentation, what a let down. I want to see Buscema do gesture drawings damnit!

  • 2 or 3 days before you are as good as Big John

    FUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing post!! Thanks from Brazil!

  • this is so cool

  • Lol, two or three days my ass.

  • lol 2 or 3 days....

a believable stick figures comes out after one or two weeks of hard work for not so artistic hands.

  • they made this into a book right? I recognize all of these pictures

  • two or three days my ass lol

  • Hey i have a problem with 0:31 it skips me towards the end

  • @ColtartX Looking over the video I found that the 360p setting is not working, change it to 240p or 480p for the video to play.

  • Not to besmirch the good name of John Buscema - an artist for which I have an enormous amount of respect - but seeing these videos with fresh, adult eyes (last time I saw this was in the 90s), I have to call BS on some of the transitions between sketches.

There's no way that he made those heavy pencil lines at @ 3:55 and then in the next step all that lead on the paper is gone leaving a clean, semi-finished figure. They probably used copies of the book as he drew over them. That's cheating! lol

  • @mikepalomino Well, I think it looks more like he was trying to emphasize the shapes in the figure, to show the audience what he was doing.

  • @Grahamhakala No doubt. John Buscema was da man. I was just pointing out something I'd never noticed before :]

  • nice

  • how do u do that, must take lots of practice. and stan lee, i really want to see how u look right now.. :D

  • @sexicantravioso1

:( every1 is so old, jackie chan is in his 50's, jetli as well, and arnold is in his 60's i think.. jim carrey - 50's,,, Will smith - 50's... :S

  • @Cxeri93 Will Smith isnt in his 50's!!! he's in his mid 30's

  • @sexicantravioso1

  • @Cxeri93 he is somewhere between his 30's and early 40's... he did the show Fresh Prince of Belaire in the 90's he was 17 when he did that
