hey, i agree, robinson, cooke wonder, gaye, their all one of my favourite singers of all time. and i also think that mainstream music in general sucks with all its crappy songs today. but john legend is a bit different, he has some really nice soulful songs and he doesnt seem to be the commercial type. he really gives some heart into his music. i hope you can realize that, than hatin on him. in fact i think he's not givin enough credit in the biz today.

Don't get me wrong, I like Legend and have bought his albums.

But it's disappointing to see someone with talent create such mediocre work, like most modern artists.

This is his third album, and debatably "Show Me", "PDA", and "Save Room" are his best tunes so far.

He knows his R&B predecessors better than anyone. Wonder gave us "Superstition", "Higher Ground" among other GREAT songs. Cooke, Smokey, Gaye etc... timeless classics.

Where is Legend's answer to "Heard it through the Grapevine"???
