Hey, there are medications out there that I think would help. I took Seroquel which is an anti depressant, and I took it morning and night (only took it at night to put me to sleep, it is a sedative), and that is a great medicine and will help you sleep. I'm only suggesting it because anorexia and depression which is commonly associated with anorexia, both are related to sleep problems, so it's a win win situation with that. Best of luck.

It is a side effect drugs do not cause "temporary Anorexia Nervosa" they cause Anorexia a loss of appetite and yes many people who get this have to force themselves to eat because they just arent hungry AND the medication causes them to feel ill when they do eat.

actually there are certain criteria you gotta live up to to be diagnosed with anorexia, such as having missed 3 periods in a row and being at least 15% underweight. But thats just the physical condition, a 400 lbs person can still have the mindset and be mentally ill
I hate that criteria, I think I have disordered eating, I don't know what to class it as but I have all the mental bits that come with anorexia and I@ve basically become obsessed with losing weight. I'm still nowhere near skinny though! And my periods have always been very light and irregular so hell! I may never get diagnosed!
I love how ridiculous people are. You don't develop an ED over two weeks, especially one as complex as anorexia. And if you had an ED, you wouldn't tell people they're dumbasses for not eating.

Anyone who has anything judgemental to say about people with any type of eating disorder should be ashamed! These poor people are suffering from a disease! Have a little compassion for them! They can't help the way that they are. I DO NOT support eating disorders. I feel sorry for people who are suffering from them, and pray for them. I do not call them crazy, or disgusting. Have a heart!

It is a side effect drugs do not cause "temporary Anorexia Nervosa" they cause Anorexia a loss of appetite and yes many people who get this have to force themselves to eat because they just arent hungry AND the medication causes them to feel ill when they do eat.

Anorexia as a side effect of a medication, Loss of Appetite, is NOT at all the same thing as Anorexia Nervosa, a Psychological disorder.

Thats not true. One of my hispanic friends is battling Anorexia right now, and my African American friend is almost fully recovered from Anorexia and Bulimia. It doesn't have anything to do with race.

actually there are certain criteria you gotta live up to to be diagnosed with anorexia, such as having missed 3 periods in a row and being at least 15% underweight. But thats just the physical condition, a 400 lbs person can still have the mindset and be mentally ill

I hate that criteria, I think I have disordered eating, I don't know what to class it as but I have all the mental bits that come with anorexia and I@ve basically become obsessed with losing weight. I'm still nowhere near skinny though! And my periods have always been very light and irregular so hell! I may never get diagnosed!

I love how ridiculous people are. You don't develop an ED over two weeks, especially one as complex as anorexia. And if you had an ED, you wouldn't tell people they're dumbasses for not eating.
