Of course it is not possible to bear the freezing water long, but you should try swimming once you got wet all over. The feeling of your tight jeans at your legs and jumpers, shirt, jackets on your arms when you make your strokes is a very thrilling kind of thing.

...I was wearing a big orange life jacket - not so much for safety (but it´s nice for that too, I guess), but because it is a funny feeling when you fall in the water and than "pop" out, because of the life jacket.

If you try this again this winter (dont forget the camera, please :)),

try wearing life jackets - it was really fun for me.

Too bad my sister wasnt here this week to take a video - maybee in two weeks if we still have ice than.

When I walked back, I broke in at some thinner spots, too. Its a weired feeling when it slowly cracks and then you are in the water all of a sudden.
