I just realized, this one doesn't have the last page we sang. Which went Te ergo quae sumus, tu is famulis, subvene quos pretioso sanquine, Redemisti, however all of it is spelled. That was my favourite part! TwT
the "Te ergo quae sumus, tu is famulis, subvene quos pretioso sanquine, Redemisti" part is another movement of this piece I think. I sang it too and it was separated from this aria.
But I sang it faster than that, it's a little heavy
The difference between Mozart and everyone else is that he sounds good even when he had to crank out product. Te Deum is fairly uninspired by Mozart standards, and he uses all the tricks to satisfy the aesthetic of the day, pretty much like a modern-day composer. If you want to make a living at it, sometimes you write ad jingles and songs for kids' shows. In our days, the detergent company is the patron, not the archbishop.

@Expatinholland
definitely too slow..

Un po' "troppo lento"; fortunatamente Mozart è così "perfetto" da poter essere interpretato con qualunque tempo.

We just sang this in choir the other day, for a contest. I love this piece very much, and I enjoyed singing along to this youtube version xD

We enjoyed it very much. Especially the tempo, and we hear every word. Thank you. It is a great help for us. We are going to sing it in our choir.
