i do the same think. and i no what you mean, have a big set and only using th one doesnt make sense. but for me it does, b/c i have two seperate sets but together, and one of the bass drums sounds so much better than the other. so i just use a pedal on that one. but the toms are all good, thats y i use the second set. lol
