that woman is an awful rider. I watched other vids of this pair- the poor horse is NOT happy. watch the finale'- the horse just wants to get away and she pokes him with the whip. The whip is not supposed to be used that way AND dressage commands are virtually invisible- you clearly see her yanking on his poor mouth, kicking and poking him- it's horrible. The horse is sad. That saddens me.

you obvisoly dont know much about riding..... she is amazing, this takes uber skill to do somthing like that. she understands the relationship she has with her horse. it looks like she is tugging on the horses mouth but in dressage you have to have tight reins. dont judge so fast

no you 'obvisoly' dont know anything about riding. Look at this horse. He is definitely cramped and feels totally uncomfortable. Just watch another vid of such a performance. In one he gotta perform the kompliment. He refuses, but after the whip he certainly gotta do it. At the end the only thing he wanna do is to flee, to get away from this place as quick as possible. Just learn the horse'S body language. Then you really know something about riding and horses. just awful..

after 27 years I certainly HOPE I know a thing or 2. Personally I think dressage is beautiful to watch, but horrible for the horse- I do know what I am talking about.

and another thing- in dressage, the key is to NOT see any of the commands- they are supposed to be virtually invisible- and hers are very obvious.

i dont think so... the horse would not do this if she is a bad rider... and the horse wouldnt do this when its free ..

@Evalani22 That horse is not sad. Look at the ears, they are relaxed. And that "whip thing" really is how horses communicate, they kick each other (it does come a lot harder than a whip!)
