Bunch of narrow minded, self opinionated morons. Get with the programme, there are plenty of younger people and young families who have low incomes and would welcome the opportunity to save themselves some money by shopping at a large supermarket. Unfortunately Ledbury town centre does not offer the type of one stop shopping that you get at a large supermarket and in this day and age, with peoples busy lives that is exactly what the younger generation require. So come on LOTS get a grip!!
so people from outside ledbury and a load of shop keepers oppose the new tesco??...what about the needs and wants of the people OF ledbury and the residents of ledbury on lower incomes??..you LOTS are a very selfish bunch indeed ...move with the times and get out of the 50's ....the majority of people in ledbury WANT these new stores and they will be built.
I'd like to ask the members of LOTS how many of you are actually Ledbury residents who use the high street shops on a regular basis, from the video above I only see a few faces that are known and I have lived in Ledbury for 35 years. I also note that the vast majority of people there seem to be in the older age bracket, if as you say people don't want the new Tesco's where are the 18-35 people. I support the bid for a new Tesco's as I really believe it will help those who need it most.
