@laziiidan Once a month or so....it takes a few minutes using Honda polish cleaner. Just be careful not to get any on the tires....due to loss of traction.

@stayswagedout i was in the same dilemma and what made my mind up was on the R6 you sit on top of the bike and it is meant more for track use. where as the CBR600RR you sit more into the bike and have less pressure on your wrists. and the CBR is more street oriented.

I love honda but have had two and both left me stranded, a pacific coast had a bad voltage regulator and stopped charging the battery when i was hell and gone from anywhere and my 900rr the thumb ignition switch went bad right when i was nowhere and the bike wouldn't start but those were 90's models!

only down side to the new cbr 600rr is that you need to upgrade the rad, they over heat with the stock ones.

QUESTION TO EVERYONE...im 16 been driving for over a year. never had a ticket, let alone been pulled over, and ive never been in any sort of accident. took a few drivers deffense courses. im very responsible and im very aware driving. ive been racing motocross for 8 years now. i love sportbikes and ive rode a few 600s just down around my cultasack and in driveways....would any of you expeirenced guys tell me if a 600 would be okay? if not what would you guys reccomend....thanks guys. ride safe

R6's are better .... i have a honda dirtbike though and like all the 600's and they'er all japanese versions cbr zx6r gsxr But R6 Looks so much better i got an 07 R6 . Preformance wise they are all very close too but again lol R6 has the best .

@sasha1776 dude it doesnt matter how much you weigh and how tall u are if ur a beginner a new 600 cc bike is WAY to big for you, try getting either an older 600 or a newer maybe ninja 250... but plz take my advice and do not get a bike this big unless you absolutely know you can handle it. if you have any doubt and i mean ANY doubt that its to much bike, then its too much bike

@Sk8FalIen You can decide that yourself. But let me tell you 1 thing. PROS suggest that you start smaller, NON pros suggest you just get whatever bike you want. My 3 friends and i decided to get bikes, i looked up some info on em, took the MSF course, and we all got our licenses. We all bought our bikes within 2 months. I got a SV650sf, my other friend got a Ninja250 and my 2 others bought 600s as their first. Within 6 months of them buying it, both bikes were crashed bad and they stopped riding

@0706brendan i also recommend this bike. i have a 2009 myself and they say the 2007 is actually faster due to some retuning in 2009. The bike is just so comfortable to ride. Great choice! you wont be dissapointed if you get one.

@PRINCEofPECICA .....that is around 155kg dry weight! Wet weight with fluids brings it to around 185 kg. This is still very light and makes the bike fun to ride.

i think you'd be fine man i have thr same bike just the 06 model and am only 5'9 and easily fit my whole foot on the ground. that means u should atleast be able to get ur toes down ( when ur stopped ofcourse). other than that, u have nothing to worry about!!
