Well, I think that would be great. Being a leading in carbon design there should be a lot of synergies our military could benefit from. It is good when government and industry work together and not against each other.
Hey people, I've been looking at getting the 1.5 in series 1 road bikes (the red and white racer) and I wondered if anybody has got one. What's it like to ride? Cheers for any comments!
Thanks. In the end I got the 1.5 and I love it! The Sora shifters aren't too bad once you've got used to them. I have the Trek cycle computer with the wireless sensor screwed into the front fork and I can hit 30mph, no problem. Once I'm back up to my old fitness standard I'd probably do 40mph+. Great bike and I love those Bontragger rims!
You guys have to check out the TREK FuelEX mountain bike and the Madone 6.9 l believe...that's the bike l'm hoping l can get...nice...tshi year Trek will make millions of dollars sellig those bikes...
Inexpensive Treks are made in China. The higher end road and mountain bikes are made in the USA though. The Chinese ones though should be a lot better quality than a big-box retail bike from china though so don't worry too much.
hommie TREK is a USA bike that means its made in USA if u happens to get one in china so cheap something is wrong with it its either and old model trek or its jus a bike with trek stickes on it lol.if you wanna see a real trek try gettin a pic of my trek team pro its out of this world and damn its light
I have seen several articles which seem to be suggesting that lance actually rode litespeed bikes with trek decals. As far as carbon fibre bikes are concerned, scott bikes are really the market leaders. just look at the addict and ransom.
I believe lance rode a litespeed time trial once in the tour in 1999 with trek decals, but his road bike was trek. All his other bikes since then including time trial bikes have been actual trek bikes.
Because he trained hard, worked hard, was motivated and determined, oh yeah, and he had a kick ass bike. You can't plop someone who isn't winning material on a kick ass bike and then they magically win. The bike had a part, but it was a lot of Lance. :D
Yeah, true, their bikes are excellent and it shows. Do you think it is more that the most skilled cyclists ride the Trek, or that the Trek pushes forward the more skilled cylists? If you know what I mean.
I think they find good cyclist and make them the best through their training programs, and it helps that they have a non selfish team to help them get there.
wow, frame in finite element method

Awesome! They need to put a sub-mochine gun on my bike. That would be rad.

agreed, however trek is still dominating the tour without Lance, not that he couldn't still kick all of their butts
