Seriously dude, STFU about comparing this to Systema. Systema is a bitch rip off for the real aspects of Russian Martial Arts - silly crap. The old Soviet Union did study the useful aspects of Chinese IMA for combative developements. But Systema (lol) is not the result.
@Gieszkanne hello, the result is Russian Martial Art (8 Directions of Combat) of which Sambo is a central aspect but not the only one. The RMA/ROSS system is the one to check out. It's quite close to the combative aspects of Taiji in general as well. Systema is to me just a trashy interpretation of a great idea - and the systema guys ( just IMO) don't get it.
I saw 3 vids of the founder Alexander Retuinskih now. Its more physikal and reminds me more on Shuai jiao. Ryabko/Vasilev are much more internal. I hve the feeling that you never felt or exoierenced Systeme and just judged by watching. Here is another one "Sibirskiy Viun" watch?v=5aTobO65xZg&feature=related
@Gieszkanne I have about ten years of experience variously in RMA and related systems, 25 years or so over all. You actually have it exactly backwards, but the observation is good. The thing to remember is that RMA/ROSS was recognized as relevant, important, worthy of the Alfa Units and really does work. The other, sells a lot of DVD's. Again please keep in mind it's JMO and in the end whatever works for you is best and both approaches have their strong points. Thanks.
Verry good-no doubt!

Вы, ребята, видели себя со стороны?
Вы ведете себя как идиоты непуганные из деревни, попав в большой город. И пацанчик сзади с фотиком снимает, как бы марсианина увидел.

Не завидуйте. Расслабьтесь :)

Go and try it! Before you will try no need to say any bullshit.

Just go work on reading comprehension - you're clearly missing the point.

@bullmeecham
But what is the result if not Systema?
