  • It because all the power all the equipment in the car uses, that alone would drain the battery within 30 minutes. They could power it all off, but then if they have to leave in a hurry they have to wait for everything to restart before they become fully operational. not to mention what pat said. Cars hardly use any gas while idleing

  • I saw two Anaheim Police cars outside a local department store in the Anaheim plaza both idling while they were inside conducting business. I'm sure there is a good reason they idle their cars and don't shut them off.

  • a car idling uses so little gas you wasted more breath then that car did gas

  • guess if you dont have anything else better to do hate on the cops! kinda sad...

  • and heres a waste of a life form

  • What jack ass would care?? The computers and radios in the cars will fail if they shut the cars off, especially in the summer.. I'm a mechanic for the City of WEstminster; same thing w/our cops cars. This guy needs to get a life and start paying tax dollars himself . . .

  • @anah8r

get a real job and stop sucking taxpayer dollars jackass. People like you make me sick. I bet you have 450K in debt too that we are paying interest on. Jackhole.

  • My department requires us to leave our cars on at all times. The computers drain the battery. They are probably

  • lmao if only u knew what the members of the military service do on a daily basis u would have at lest 500 more videos of you ranting about tax dollars being wasted and what not lol

  • I'm ashamed at you, Jim. You are fortunate enough to run a successful car parts company and you follow around and harass some public worker on his 30 minute lunch break? I can understand why you're angry, but you really think his idling engine is the cause of our problems in CA? You need to look at a much bigger picture. I know if I needed him or her at my house, I wouldn't care if their car had been idling and if (God forbid!) you or Wyatt needed them I'm sure you wouldn't either. There's not

  • Such crap. The engine is providing the same 12 volt charge any battery could supply for any lunch break. That's exactly what I'd expect to hear from a dim-witted PUBLIC EMPLOYEE. Someone who has no idea of what it cost to run a business, pay employees and actualy have a bottom line. If the police department had to turn a real profit half of you numbskulls would be out of work. Takes very little skills to be a cop...face it.

  • Just to let you know we leave our cars running so all the equipment like our computers wont kill the battery. Police cars even have a button to let us take the key out without turning off the car. Get a hobby and stop posting negative things about the police that protect peoples rights like you, to be ignorant.

  • If they weren't cops they'd be someother lame public employee. What would any cop know about running an actual business or working for a free enterprise business that actually has to proiduce something to make a profit. The Anaheim Police are lazy and only go into that vocation because it takes no real skills or intelligence to do it. Look at the assinine response they give on this matter. They are criminals with a badge.

  • Typical BS response by another public employee... Oink Oink! The only persons stupid enough to believe that crap would be a someone like you. After all it doesn't take much smarts or skill to be a cop. By the way his partner's car was parked in the same parking lot not running while they ate lunch together. You probably keep your car running too when your'e parked beating your meat on the taxpayers dime.

  • And youre wasting oxygen by breathing. Police leave the cars running because they have to. There are more electronics in police cars which need to maintain a constant charge to work properly. That way Anaheim PD can respond to your house with sirens and working computers after you beat your wife.....

  • @bLuEsMoKe4U

Isn't Anaheim's response time the worst in Orange County. LMAO. Cops and prison guards overpriced waste of tax payer dollars.

  • @solitaryfracture say that next time your family is being held at gunpoint

  • @steveoflyz

That is why I carry a Sig229 .357. I don't need fat ass overpaid cops to protect me. I just need my 2nd Amendment baby.

  • This happens all over California with police cars. They don't care about the gas since they don't pay it.

hahaha. Chipotle in anaheim hills right next to pizza hut.
