  • I bet that sounds so clear and accurate in person. Nice setup =]

  • @xasthurhead Thanks for your comment. The system is switched on 24/7 and when you are listening to a Cd/LP you forget about the system and lose yourself in the music.

  • hope thats not a ortophon needle and cartidge. because i had one and it stunk. i replaced it with a audio techninca.

  • @josh00023 Its not an ortophon cartridge, mind you I have had a couple of mc Ortophons and they were quite good. The current cartridge on my turntable is a Linn Troika which is very nice.

No its not an ortophon, mind you I have had Mc Ortophons previously and they have been quite good. The current cartridge on my turntable is a Linn Troika which is very nice.

  • Hallo, great sound. Can I ask you what music is playing? Thanks

  • @BillyTwanger

Nick Manson - For John.Unfortunately this was a Youtube soundtrack ,but I can say that my system sounds equally as good. Thanks for your comment.

  • @Naim14082 thank you for the reply !

  • nice

  • @Shurbovi Glad you like it and thanks for your comment.

  • Hi,

What Naim CD player is that? Is it the CD5i?

By the way, have you got your LP12 running yet?

  • Hi,The cd player is the Cd5.I've got to get some new windows for the house so the turntable has to wait. How are you getting on with your new amp,do you find it better than the Quads ? Happy New Year to you.

  • Happy New Year to you too.

I miss the Quads very much.

I'm waiting for some Lowther speakers to come, as the Leak is best with sensitive speakers.

If I don't like the Lowthers, i'll just sell them on and maybe get some Nice Audionote speakers. Or maybe some Naim SBL speakers.

By the way, I might think about going for a Naim CD player one day. Just something simple like the New CD5i (Italic)

    Shane.

  • Thanks Shane for your comment.I hope you find the right speakers for your system, what a minefield ! I hope the Lowthers work for you.

  • Bravo! I love those speakers!! I got a chance to hear them hooked up to an Accuphase 450 Integrated. Simply AWESOME!

  • Thanks for your comment.I've lusted after a pair of Sonus Faber speakers for years and finally had an opportunity to purchase a pair second hand six months ago.

  • very awsome dude like the cd player very cool thats what i call audio.its funny how these people think bookshelf systems is audio i call them wanna be stereos.have a cool on rock on

  • Thanks for your comment and don't be fooled by the size of the speakers ,they can pack a punch.LOL !

  • yeh im biding on a nait 3 right now. i did have one of these a long time ago and mis it alot so i hope i get it :)

  • Best of luck,I hope you get it.

  • niiiiiiiiiiiiiiceeeeee im just about to go back to naim after a stint with cyrus. i like the "naim sound" its far beter lol. nice set up man.... good to see somone puting somthing that is real hifi on here rather than " look at me killing my hifi"

  • Thanks for your comment. There are some good second hand Naim amps around at the moment so your spoilt for choice. They've just bought out a new integrated amp " Nait XS " which by all accounts is pretty tasty.

  • proper hifi and 10cc very good ,un nuit in paris monsieur is very tempting but i have to say non

  • Its a great album and thanks for the comment.Never mind about "Un nuit in paris " cos its a " Brand New Day "

  • OK, good luck.

Just wondering, did you have a pair of Kef speakers?

  • Well done ,you've got a good memory.I had a pair of Kef 105.2.They had the removable head unit.Great speakers ,but they were too big for my room.Plus the wife didn't like them LOL ! I've had the Sonus Fabers now for 4 months and they are more suited to my room.

  • Everyone always says I have a good memory, I think it runs in the genes in our family.

When you get your turntable up and going, are you going to make a video of it?

    Take care.

  • You know what this audio thing is like. I need a phono stage, power supply and my turntable serviced and then I should be ready to play vinyl again ,sigh !!!.As soon as I get it up and running I will make a video.Take care of yourself and have a good one.

  • Nice looking system, very posh.

    Done very well.

  • Thanks for the comment. However ,its taken me years to assemble my system.I just need to get my turntable serviced and then I can play my vinyl again.
