2. How does my age and the time the manga came out have anything to do with each other? I didn't even start reading the Dragon ball manga until last year. I read the Dr. Slump manga about 3ish years ago because someone recommended it to me. He did also recommend Dragon ball, but I personally never saw the appeal, it seemed rather boring, cliche, and overrated at the time, (or course I was only going by the anime) so I never bothered.
