I love Bierochs, my grandmother would make them for me and I would take them back to college. Simple, but sooo good. Was a lot better than the boxed macaroni and hot dogs I lived on otherwise. :)
Wow that looks so good! I am gonna have to give this a try! Thanks for sharing the recipe. I may have to use Craigs frozen bread dough. Love that pie looks good.
@bnsd70mac1 No health food at this house, lol. I saw a documentary called Fat Head on Netflix and the guy stated that animal fats were actually better for you than processed corn oils and vegetable fats? I don't know about that, but the documentary makes a lot of sense......So bring on the "REAL" butter baby until some one can prove otherwise. The bierocks were so good and buttery, you should have been there brother. I put the recipe in the description if any one wants to try it?
@imramro LOL, Linda's gonna smack you with the start of the vid:) Damn good thing I just made some pork chops or I'd be licking the screen trying to get one of those beer rocks:) Peace bro!
@minbound Thanks MB you always know what to say. Linda did not know I filmed her butt until after I posted the video. She got a kick out of Steve's comment, lol.
@twal1011 It is pretty good stuff, surely worth trying once. You don't have to put burger and cabbage in...You can make a Hot Pocket and fill it with anything......I plan on trying bacon, egg, and cheese some day.
@sebagosteve 2Skittles4u says I wish they looked good enough for you to give her some help with the chicken questions she has for you, lol. Thanks for the compliment brother.
@ImRamro I am co-hosting Blogtv this Wed if you can wait till then. I really do want to help you out so if you'd prefer you can call me on the phone since it looks like Skype won't work for you. PM me if you want my cell. Take care my friend.
@sebagosteve We can wait brother, we are in no hurry. It will be months before the chickens start laying. I will talk to you on Wednesday, that sounds great and my wife is sitting behind me.....making me say thank you, thank you, thank you! I think she was thanking you for liking the buns lol.
@unomas58 You can do anything for the filling. You can make a pizza pocket or a breakfast sandwich. The only trick is to put the cheese on the dough first, and then any filling on top of the cheese. Wrap and pinch the dough and bake. You have a calzone, or a bierock, or anything you want. If you don't pinch the dough well enough, then a lot of the cheese oozes out. As you can see in the video.
@generalgene007 Did you get it? I just posted the recipe to a comment from Ziva. The recipe is in the comments below. It is an awesome recipe. Thanks for watching.
@ImRamro What bread dough did you use? Is it frozen? or do you have a recipe for that? The bread looks fantastic, and I love the toppings you used too! I want that bread recipe if there is one, but I like the frozen too, so which one did you uset?
Thank you for this, I needed something new and really different, and this looks so yummy!

@ImRamro Yes sir. Thank you so much, I will try it this weekend!
generalgene007 10 months ago
@Ziva4Freedom
1. Make homemade bread dough, or buy frozen dough. (aprox. 6 loaves)
2. fry up 5 lbs of hamburger and drain.
3. Dice and boil 1 large head of cabbage in water for about 20 min.
4. Combine cooked beef and cabbage, add salt and pepper to taste, mix well.
Take a ball of dough and flatten to about the size of a small plate, 5-6".
Place shredded Mozzarella cheese on the dough first. Then add heaping spoon of meat mix.
Pinch the dough around the mix. Bake 350 until golden/brown.
YUMMY!
