  • what size is the tank in this video?

  • Hey be carful with mealworms they have found the ranivirus in them witch kills reptiles fish even amphibians ok they have found it in my state but idk about any other state k just the heads up

  • cool dude i like it

  • How many leoperd geckos do you have?you should do more videos on leoperd geckos.

  • my blizzard has realy blue eyelids, whats this mean?

  • welll now some companys make the sand edable so it aLL DEPEND what kind of sand ug et i gues")

  • do you know what you would get if you mixed a high yellow and a blizzard leopard gecko?

  • Comment removed

  • my parints will let me get a bearded dragon and a green anole but not wanna dis :(

  • My blizzard leopard gecko looks the same. I was wondering if it was normal for the top of his eyes getting black, like on top of his head. Please respond thanks

  • @mcnationprod Yes, as long as it's like mine in the video, then it should be quite normal. It is because of the pigment of their skin, it's quite see-through. As such, the back part of the eye that is black will show (unlike that of a normal leopard gecko).

  • It is very nice:D

  • What was that hard ball thing you had in your mealworm can that the mealworms were crawling all over? Oh and how big do geckos normally get in inches? Thanks!

  • nice man

  • my bad i didnt watch before i commented

  • dont use sand

  • how much did u pay for the beast??

  • my house is cold should i get another heat pad or bulb or both

  • @TheSnarfal Depending on exactly how cold it is, normally a pad would be good enough. But if it is really cold, get both. Be sure to monitor your temps.

  • wait why dont you feed it in the cage? i have a blizzard leopard gecko too:)

  • @lucci97 because it can be harmful to a leopard gecko if it eats sand, hope this helps

  • @randolphcamilleri1 what if it is calcium sand, or whatever you wanna call it

  • @lucci97 i have no idea about that, sorry

  • how much did he cost

  • why would you use sand? fucking stupid.

  • It's never too young to tell how old they are... you just need to know what you are looking for, if it is a male it will have a upside down V and if it is a female you will be able to see the developing eggs

  • I was thinking of buying one of these but I was wondering, does the lighting in a tank cause there light skin to burn easier?

  • @TheSquall09 not that i know of... but i do know albino's have sensitive eyes to lighting. this is a blizzard though

  • @TheSquall09 No i have one and mine seems like when he drinks alot of water he turns dark and vice versa

  • i think he is some kind of albino

  • that's a really cute gecko, wut kind is he?

  • @geckolover4life1 shes a blizzard

  • cute new gecko. Check out my vids of my leopard geckos Sub if you like :)

  • Kollindyr, right i would like to get sand for my leopard gecko but what kinda of sand seeing as everyones banging on about how calci sand is extremely bad for your gecko, like i said before i would like to use sand as it gives it a more natural look and conducts heat quite well, Message me back :D

  • I've had no problems, but when I feed I feed outside the box to reduce ingestion of sand. That or feed mealworms on a plate, so she doesn't gobble any sand.

  • how much was he? im going to an expo in 2 week i think but i wanna see if they have cool leos for cheap?

  • 1:45 he/she is like "whoa! wtf? another me?"

  • lol haha

  • hehe nice, look at my blizzard in my vids :D

  • I HAVE THAT WATER DISH!!!!

  • Are blizzards more aggresive?

  • not at all

  • yeha they are

  • i have got a female blizzard leopard gecko too :)

  • nice!!

  • in all honesty sand is just a bitch to maintain as well as a risk to the animal... even if you don't feed him in there

  • Aww, he's so little!! Very cute!

  • thank you, appreciate it, turns out he, is actually a she

  • Do you think that you could post an update video of her? I would like to see what she looks like now. :)

  • sure... will have to give me some time though, I've been really busy with work and school

  • make sure u dnt keep dat light on cuz it will get a burn easily since its an albino

  • She's a blizzard, and the light was only there to show the vide

  • A, Its a blizzard as kolli has stated.

    And

    B. The light doesn not burn albinos, albinos eyes are just sensitive to light.

  • when the next reptile expo in 2010

  • we have many, we have them every 2-3 months, or the one in september which is annual.

    just google Mississauga reptile expos

  • Would it kill you to just put paper towels instead of sand? Any loose subtract is bad for your Blizzard, especially in that age.

  • look its likely for you gecko to get impaction on sand but not very many do ive kept all 7 of my geckos in the opast babys and adults on clay substrate which is wot they live on in the desert and none of them have got impaction or any other problems

  • you say you dont feed him inside put geckos walk around licking the surface to get a scence mine does it all the time so i dont use any kind of sand

  • baby leo on sand is not a good mix but i have my adults on it...

  • adults and sand aint neither

  • U Have Quite Alot Of Calcium There

  • I know! I lol'd

  • Nice Leo Tho :)

  • hey i have that hide for my gecko xD

  • not keeping him on sand also reduces the chances of impaction jkjk, im not goin to be a smart ass

  • cool leo are thy a rare kind

  • Leos in general? Nope, Blizzards? Not really, but they are more rare than normals :D

  • For some reason mine wont even look at the mealworms but the guy at the shop and other breeders have told me thats good because crickets are better for them i have found a shop that sells pinkys frozen so when hes older al get him some of them as a treat ofc :P

  • Well yep, some don't like mealworms, some do... crickets aren't necessarily better, but they are definitely not less nutritious than mealworms...

    GL with your gecko!

  • how much was your gecko?

  • i got my Leopard Gecko for £45 its a mack snow morph called him Koopa oh and i stay in scotland so if your in america convert it to dollars :P

  • about how much do leopard geckos cost at reptile shows

  • i love leopard geckos i have two :)

  • water dish is to big

  • no its fine. cause he can go in it to help him shed.

  • Thanks yeah... the water dish is fine... and he is much bigger now... so it doesn't matter anymore :P

  • THE WATER DISH IS TO BIG FOR HIM

  • Nice gecko man :)

    5*

  • Thanks

  • sick man i subbed i went to that expo also there was llike nothing but i still found a nice beardie

  • Cool, at least you went home w/ something :P

  • i said that to everyone dont put it in the tank feed it sperlee like in a box

  • Indeed

  • Mealworms are fine. As you said, its debatable. Crickets have shells too. Do people forget that? lol

  • Exactly, they have a chitinous shell, I think they're equally the same.

But crickets just provide slightly more nutrition.

    Thanks for the comment!
