this day in rodanthe was the biggest and cleanest ive ever seen in the outerbanks. solid 15 ft A frames sheet glass by evening. the swell of the decade. biggest swell to hit outerbanks in 10 years. fucking gnarles. pray for another

Pendelton used to be ok but there is too many heads in the water it was great until about 5 yrs

ago whenever parking was free. whats even more funny the crappier it is the more heads are out. But it does set up nice there!

Damn dude nice, I bet you were exhausted afterward. I went out during Hanna this year, caught 3 monsters and was too tired to paddle back out. And I got blown from the pier to the Neptune statue in a matter of 10 minutes!

There were better days--I surfed on Sunday, the day after, and caught smaller waves. But I've seen better days than this--with real hurricane conditions offshore. It can get 10 feet plus in Virginia but not many will surf those waves--and they are hard to catch because of the shifting sandbars.
