The fluttering you are hearing is bad! your diverter valve is shot or way to tight and that is without being in gear, its probably 3x worst when your driving. Surging well wear down the turbo.

Ein Tipp noch: Wenn du Serie fährst, ist das noch sehr zivil, hast du jedoch einen Chip drin, geht das Ventil richtig los. Bin mit 1,35bar im Overboost gefahren, da haben sich schon teils (ungewollt) viele Leute nach dem Auto umgedreht.
BMC filters strangle the air by the way its been tested many times. Get urself a decent cone (jetex is nice) and a good feed. Obviously cold air doesnt matter so much turbo cars.
Fit a proper air FILTER - or at least learn what one is for! You do what all boy racers do, get conned by clever sales people on forums. A filter is to CLEAN air to prevent damage. A proper filter has a huge surface area of 13ft, yours is about 1ft so the holes need to be 13 times bigger to pass the same amount of air as the correct filter for the car. That means yours lets in dirt 13+ times the size of a paper element, so causes damage and blocks faster which DEGRADES performance !
normally you shouldn't have problems with this valve because it's a modified Mitsibishi Evo 8 Valve which is in my opinion quite a durable one for "normal" turbo engines like the 1.8t

Hab auch nen 1.8t mit SUS2 und BMC CDA.
Was meinst du mit modified Evo Pop Off? Das was mit dem SUS2 mit dabei war oder? Oder hast du dadran noch was gemacht.
Und noch was: Was ist das Blaue nach dem CDA und Luftmassenmesser?
Ist das dieses Forge Motorsport Hoses? Hast du ein Link für mich?

my car used to do that when driving esp when cold, so changed dump valve and it doesnt do it now
