  • dud i made 2 of these and they worked awsome

  • @countrystyleoutdoors Thanks man enjoy!

  • I just love to run in to these type experiences in todays cynical and lost environment.

  • cheers im sure when im older ( im eleven) i will use that

  • Nice holders! I think i´ll try to make some for my surffishing rods.

    Thank you for the video!

  • Just made it. I didn't bother with the clamps, but rather just put the pvc on the rebarb and slid it down.

  • @sfomurchu Hey never thought that could work too!

  • hm... I made 1.. but my boat sunk, cuz u used the hammer to smash it in to the ground, u own me a boat :)

  • great vid. you can modify this design to meet the matirals that you have and the size rod that u have. thanks for the vid.

  • i have that rod in med/light its cheap but works great ive landed some big fish etc salmon, pike, trout, sea bass, large mouths in florida there great rods and really cheap and light weight really holds its own with my expencive rods

  • what stick did u use to support the pipe??

  • does it work for small and medium fish? or does it only work for big fish??

  • @happygirl809 It works for all size fish.

  • ya no whats expensive, when ur rod holders dont work and my $250 rod and reel are being towed underwater by a fish. :)

  • @22nighthawks Thats just funny!

  • think ill make one!

  • nice vid..spinning rod for the win!

  • ok i left a commenr

  • Were did u buy your rod

  • New Stainless Rod Holders.

  • This is a great idea however I would recommend letting the re-bar stick 2 or 3 inches above the PVC pipe so you can pound on the top of the re-bar without hitting the PVC.

  • could i weld this to my boat

  • @ATVKid32 Sure I guess

  • in most cases i just make myself a little longer piece of pvc pipe and cut a point and the bottom of it and then u can just put it into the ground no need for the other stuff !

  • @BigJoesfishing Yeah you can do that. But in Bay city Michigan The ground is rocky and hard. So that's why I use steel rebarb. Thanks for checking out my video.

  • @jgreenleaf18 true its like that here in some spots to !

  • @BigJoesfishing thts what i did in australia

  • does the re bar have to be that long

  • @bloodcum55 No, But it will hold a bigger fish

  • @jgreenleaf18 thats true, i bought one of those cheap ass wal-mart short ones & i hooked a huge frickin' 5 ft gar and he bent that short piece on rod backwards!

  • than you can take a torch and heat to were you can stretch it to whatever.

  • Could you use a knife to push into the ground???

  • haha hey great video man lol were all trying to go cheap anymore...im going to go and make a shitload of those rod holders lol

  • @genepool121 Thanks for watching. Glad to share stuff with ya!

  • nice -thanks for sharing

  • @ROADSNAKE90ROADSNAKE Thanks for watching man!

  • That's how we do it on Bay City's South Side!

  • @southside3679 S.E.M 4 Life

  • @jgreenleaf18 Never will die! You know it man!

  • Good idea.

  • @TheGreenleaf1985 I've been using these. Where you been fool!

  • Bet That works better then those cheap ones you could buy from Wally World! 5 stars

  • @musicmafia18 Hell yeah they do. Been there done that with those cheaply welded thing.

  • Great idea Jim! I think I might make a couple of those now!

  • yeah, They work really good too! Holds your pole real good. Plus because of the steal re barb being kinda long. The pole sits in the holder right at knee level. So there's no bending down to grab it.

  • Great idea man! thanks

  • No, thank you for watching!

  • I figured this way is a lot cheaper then buying them! Thanks for the comment and watching!

  • good idea man thanks for sharing that,
