My room mate recently had a friend deploy to Libya (go figure) and we both agree it's BS that we're even there. But not much I can say, we artillerymen are key on every battlefront. If Americans really loved their troops,they wouldn't shit their soldiers all over the world to fight wars of agression that they have incited that DO NOT serve their public's interest but rather their opressing eilites. This is the simple murder of people, people with familes. In the end, there is no logical explantion or justification to those who has experienced these atrocities. It's no wonder so many American veterans commit sucide after their service is up. War is not heroic,it's monsterous

@Ariminua I can' agree more. I'm a US Soldier and I really don't want to have to go to war, but if they say go, I go. It's that simple. My room mate recently had a friend deploy to Libya (go figure) and we both agree it's BS that we're even there. But not much I can say, we artillerymen are key on every battlefront. So we go everywhere

@Ariminua I ask that you do not blame the soldiers for this. I am a soldier... And I feel as though I have been abandoned by the very people I swore to protect. I never raped anyone. I never killed an innocent person. I only spent countless days deployed away from my loved ones for a war I did not believe in. My only true motivation was to bring my fellow soldiers home alive so they could be united with their families after our corrupt government sent us to die for it's own gain.

I didn't go there for America and I could give a fuck about Iraq. I went because my fellow soldiers went and it was my duty to bring them home alive weather or not I agree with the war is irrelevant. @sjvietboy408 Veterans are at fault for not sifting through the propaganda and seeing these wars for what they actually are. That was irresponsible on their part and this is where they find themselves. Undoubtedly the government played a hand in manufacturing approval and legitimacy, however, no gun was held to the head of anyone. Your argument of soldiers being "forced" to sign on the dotted line isn't valid because I saw the lies, successfully avoided recruitment and never joined.
