  • Maybe it is just the editing but: The dancer look cold like ice and so preoccupied with what she is doing she does not have fun dancing but the song is so beautiful that the dancer does not make a difference.

  • Very beautiful! What a graceful and sensual belly dancer, and the music is excellent! Thanks for posting the vid!

  • hyper-mobile elbows makes some really fluid moves possible... ^..^

  • This is one of the most beautifully pefomed 'belly dance' I have ever seen. You have your own very unique style and look...This is truly the highest expression of any dance art I have ever seen. .I wish you all the best in your career and your life.

  • i totally love it, fabulous!!!

    name of the song??

  • one of my favorite youtube performances! magical bellydance at it's best. i love hayati! inspirational!

  • Magnificent dancer...from one dancer to another.

  • great great great beautifuuuuuuuuuuuul

  • Oh god I love this song!

  • Hayati, you are magical. Looking forward to seeing you at Silk at Cay in Tokyo on March 21st.

  • She moves her arms more than her belly.

  • @LadyZeppelin1960

Typical bitchy comment spoken out of jealousy.

  • @giomakyo Well, your inference is incorrect. I have made an observation. Just because one disagrees or dislikes something doesn't mean that their logic is based off of jealousy. The reason I even viewed this video is because I am a belly dancer, myself. So, maybe you should do your intelligence some justice and think before you form a conclusion.

  • @LadyZeppelin1960

Gee, I never would have guessed that it was a dancer making a catty comment about another dancer's style. What a surprise!

I look forward to seeing your video get 27,000 views...

  • @LadyZeppelin1960

Oh wait, you don't actually have any videos of your own dancing up on YouTube... yet another surprise.

Easy to criticize others when you won't put yourself out there...

  • @giomakyo Look, dude, it's just a fact. Whether or not I have my own vids is irrelevant. It doesn't erase the sheer fact that she isn't using her stomach or hips or any belly dancing techniques. She is simply dancing with her arms. It looks fine, but what she is doing shouldn't be considered belly dancing. It's very specific. Plus, I didn't get any thumbs down, so it seems people agree. Your defense holds no water and only comes from your passion or obsession for her. Get over it.

  • @LadyZeppelin1960

I've seen Hayati dance enough time to know that she can work her hips just fine, even if that's not what she's doing here. Bellydance encompasses a lot of styles these days, not just trad, in case you didn't know.

I still await your video showing us all how it's done.

  • @giomakyo I only belly dance for certain people. Not the world of YouTube. Regardless of how I wish to present it, I am not willing to accept comments and sexual harassment from men just looking to see some skin and promiscuous dancing. Commendable to others that post, but I would prefer not to feel demoralized. Why do you think I don't have any videos of myself. Just gets too nasty.

  • @LadyZeppelin1960

Its fine to be a backseat driver but it doesnt make people want to drive with you anywhere generally speaking.

If you dot have anything nice too say

why do you want to be known as the person who was critical and correct rather than, oh i dont know, supportive like a friend and giving this beautifull dancer her props.

weather she is dancing to your standards she touched my soul with her grace strength beauty and freedom to even dance at all.

    just sayin...

  • @LadyZeppelin1960

    might be true.

doesnt mean any style is better qualitatively as an expressive medium or approach. right?

  • @Earthenenigma Oh, of course, not. I never said any form was better. It was just an observation. Maybe this type of dancing should be deemed another name, or in this instance, for the use of her stomach is minimal or even at all. I don't wish to start an argument. Either way, the expressiveness is very beautiful and much appreciated.

  • @LadyZeppelin1960

I see. So you are mainly just pointing out that this is called 'belly dancing' and that there is more arm action than belly action?

  • @Earthenenigma Yes. Correct.

  • Cosmopolitan perspective - and very pretty, too!

  • omg i love this song where can i find it from??

  • @MakedonsKapRiNcEzSa
