its ok cos that was most of us when we started.

one thing id suggest is the drysuit zip if it gets caught on something as you pass it will empty your suit for you.

i prefer a bottle smb or an air line which is also good for filling lift bags.

i always say pushing diaphram on octopus is risky especially with single bottle & cold water cheap regs etc.

Ehmm... We have been thaugh that you should NEVER use your octo to fill the SMB. Just use exhausting bubbles from your regulator to fill the SMB.

I thought he did ok , so WHAT is the PADI way? I JUST SEE A VIDEO with a Guy Trying to Untangle a Line ( no he didnt have a reel ) at 5 metres before he set off his SMB , Whilst he was trying to untangle the line he descended back down to 17 meters back up to 5 very funny , is that the PADI way? , Definately not SAA , NAUI , BSAC or CMAS......lol

@colbro2009 Give the smb some line before you think of inflating it, and then use the exhaust bubbles.
