The United Nations has established International Laws and all nations who are members of the UN are supposed to abide by them. Not that all of them do. For instance one of the laws is that no one can use Napalm anymore yet the US government continues to have and has used it. The Geneva Convention prohibits torturing of prisoners but I'll get to that in a minute.

I'll make it easier for you, go read the Declaration of Independence since I would assume by your reply to me that you have never read the document that made us a free sovereign country. On that document is a list of things a President could do that he should be either impeached and tried for in a court of law or the people of this country could "overthrow" the government if it becomes destructive of our ends and establish new securities for ourselves. Bush has violated about 70% of that list.
