@iiMSoGoNe believe it ... i also thought this was another joke, but i did a Reverse Process in Soundtrack Pro and it's true !!! ..... sure ... tool keeps surprising ... i think you should apologize ... if you dont believe me try it by yourself ... apply Reverse to the mp3 audio file in any audio editor and go listen by yourself ... enjoy what tool has hidden for all of us ... good advises !!! hahaha! i love this band !

i think it's obviously an ironic message... poking fun at the idea of the classic "satanic" backmasked message. Bobcat Goldthwait did something similar on one of his albums (he said "Go to church, be nice" or something.
Still pretty cool. And funny, something you don't usually get from Tool.

@tcoreyb this isn't ironic. the members of Tool went to school, they work hard, and Maynard honored his m,other with "wings for Marie". Danny Carey has taught drumming to students at some college and Maynard is extremely gifted in the fields pf math and science.

10,000 Days is about how his mother had passed away after being paralyzed when Maynard was 11. Judith Marie (Maynard's mother) then passed away 10,000 days after being paralyzed. He mainly talks about how she was such an influence on his life and how he is grateful she is no longer suffering.
