Hi! Unbelievably good creation! I just wanted to ask, some of those parts you used don't exist in that colour (for example wedge plate 4x9 in orange), so how did you managed to get them? Did you paint them? I am also missing a few parts in the right colour for my own models, so it would helped me to know how to get them. Anyway, awesome job, keep up the good work!
@setechnic Oh my, what a fast reply! :-D And what technique do you use to paint them? They look just like originals, I bet no less-experienced builder recognize they're not the original bricks. And one more question: where do you get money to fund your hobby? I am a student and I spend all of my money on Lego, but just imagining the bills on bricklink for the bricks for these big creations scares me! I also have quite a collection of UCS sets, but still less than half what you have.
@skodyna1990 : To paint the parts, I've used a spray. It does a pretty good job. :)
But after that, you have to use the parts carefully. Indeed, if the painted parts "rub" (dunno if it is the right word, sorry) with other parts, the paint may leave. It may also be hard to put parts on the painted studs. Indeed, the painted studs are bigger than regular studs, because of the paint.
As for the money, yes this model was pretty expensive to do. There are A LOT a very rare and uncommon parts.
@setechnic I understand, what you are talking about, I also painted a few bricks with a spray, but it went quite bad mostly :-) But anyway, good luck with your future creations, I am looking forward to see new great models from you!
Yes, I will make you a copy. I will send it to you for free, of course.
And since I'm very nice, I will give you 100$ for you to be even more happy !

I'm really fed up with all the stupid messages you post everywhere on my videos. I guess you are 12 years old or something like that. Next stupid message from you, and I will have to block you, sorry. Cause you make me waste my time.
@setechnic thanks and I promise I wont bother you any more but theres one more thing though... I'm still wondering did you ever work for the lego group?
Certainly. But keep in mind that my goal and the goal of the designer who did the 7962 are totally different (price, part number, playset or UCS, etc).
Orange awesomeness O__o... It seems strange to me how so many people are willing to spend tons of money to buy your models, but no one is thinking of trying to get parts and actually building something of their own. LEGO can be turned into very detailed things, but isn't more fun if instead of buying it, it would be built by them ? I always thought the most fun part about it is the build process and coming up with new methods to use the pieces...
Yes, when people ask for buying my models, it may sound strange... Well, I take this as a compliment.
And yes, the building process is very interesting (for this MOC or any other MOC). I described it in Engish on Eurobricks (search "Eurobricks Sebulba Podracer UCS" on Google, and you should find the thread).
But the thing is that designing a good UCS model is not an easy task ! I've got a lot of experience in UCS construction. Yet, it took me 150 hours to build and optimize. Gathering the parts was also a real pain. :/
Don't want to be pretentious, but all the people just do not have the skills to design UCS.
That's why they prefer to buy a fan made model, instead of recreating it.
@setechnic good point. I guess i was only thinking of the long run benefits of trying to learn something like this. Most people nowadays are busy with jobs and stuff that they probably have no more time to dedicate to a hobby such as this. And, of course, parts are annoying to buy, especially when so many small ones are needed. Hats off to you for actually knowing which ones you needed. I'm confused even if I have only a few sets to buy missing parts for and Peeron handy.
@setechnic Oh, and for the record, if I had enough money, I would buy your models as well, even if only to give you additional funds for other models :D. Thank you very much for both of your replies and hope you have an excellent evening !
Unbelievably fantastic as always. Your creations set the bar high. Your use of scale and detail are perfect. What an amazing and brilliant set. Keep up the great building.
I love that you actually made the cockpit ( Correct term? ) look like a speeder! I just wish you sold these as if i had the money I'd buy it in a heart beat ( Same with hundreds of others )
You should be working for Lego. These are all amazing. Thank you for sharing.
