Who wrote the hadiths, did they ever see him did God ask the hadith collectors to collect them. There are a lot of condradictions in the quran as well, but muslims like to see it in context of the story behind the revelation. Mohammed never wrote anything down either, and his followers did not collect the same surah as eachother.

Who wrote the hadiths, did they ever see him did God ask the hadith collectors to collect them. There are a lot of condradictions in the quran as well, but muslims like to see it in context of the story behind the revelation. Mohammed never wrote anything down either, and his followers did not collect the same surah as eachother.

This is actually funny. Every moslem knows that many people actually memorised Quran cover to cover even today. So during the unification of text in Ustman era it should be easily verifiable by the audience of hafiz.
Also later during Syiah and Sunni dispute, surely it would've been easier to come up with different version of Quran between the 2 factions so they can discredit the others, but this didn't happened.
