I guess it's easy for us as fan to want the same old thing..after all it rocked lol...but I guess if we didn't allow Metallica to grow they way they have they probably wouldn't even still be around. AC/DC seems to be the only 1 to pull it off

I personally prefer the late 80's early 90's Metallica, they were so full of piss and vinegar in those days. But nobody can maintain that intensity for a lifetime. Metallica was always honest and real, they've mellowed in their lives and it comes out in they're music. I'm just glad they are still playing and they sound great. Fan for life.
