Everything from Pizza Hut is FROZEN. Their "hand tossed" dough comes as a frozen disc which is thawed and then stretched to fit over the pan.
There is NOT one freezer in Papa Johns stores. The dough is delivered in trays with severyal dough balls in each tray. The trays are stored in a walk-in cooler until they are needed. Then they are stretched out and tossed or "slapped" out by hand.
Take it from me, Papa Johns is WAY better quality pizza!

t-shirt as where papa johns is ok but the dough is like almost raw .... now dominos "new recipe" is pretty good .. alot better than it used to be .. so if were going with chains here than dominos has doen it for me ... on top of everything else igot my dominos in like 30 minuites and it was good so ... next time try all 3
As a fellow Papa Johns Delivery Driver I have a few things to say. First...did you notice how nice a cordial the PJ's driver was? Also...it was a man. We don't allow women to deliver our pizzas because that's just wrong. Second...why do you think it took a little bit longer for PJ's to get there? The 2 minute lag between orders? No. The fact that you ordered 2 pizzas from PJ's and 1 from PH? No. The truth...is that we make our pizzas with love. So it takes a little longer.
@Kateza82 I work at papa john's and let me say two things. One it doesn't matter how many pizzas you order with the speed that we make them two equals one and two it really depends on the driver, I can usually get a pizza to anywhere in our delivery area in about ten minutes max.
@joobn00b I Wouldn't Do That. Most Delivery People That Don't Get Tips Actually Go To Their Station And Tell The Manager About It. They Write It On Their Computer Or Something. Next Time You Order They Will Do Something Bad To Your Food. How Do I Know This? I've Seen This In Person.
