Kobe does play for the love of the game and simply "to win" just like Jordan did. I am not even a laker fan but I've watched plenty of basketball and watched kobe play through severely sprained ankles, broken fingers, and illnesses himself. I'm not saying Kobe is better than Jordan but there's no way you can say he plays only for the money.

Jordan was Jordan EVERY SINGLE GAME! and every game was spectacular. this is why this guy was amazing. His presence was felt in every single game, even on days he did not shoot well he ended up with 30 points while still finding a way to dominate the game and also he was incredibly fun to watch. People compare Kobe to this guy but kobe is nowhere to be seen in alot of games. Jordan was one of a kind and that kind comes along only once in a lifetime if at all. glad it was in mine

lets be honest. If mj had gone up against the 2000 lakers, there would have been no "flu game". Mj went up against hornicek, stockton, russell, carr, etc. Do we actually think Fox, shaq, kobe, fisher, horry would have allowed this happen? No way! They were saying he got a severe ankle sprain and the next thing you know he does 2 dunks in 1 game that he wasn't doing even when he was healthy. Trust me Jordan was great and can play through stuff but NO ONE would be playing basketball with the flu in its prime. He probably was sick but not unbearibly ill.
