Especially when he had the mustache/ GI Joe look going a while back.. He does look a bit like one of those Japanese/Korean pop stars here.. lol i kept invisioning a buck-toothed chinese rocker here for some reason.. But i respect these guys and this song is kick ass.. by far the best rock n roll song out now.. Although Arctic Monkeys "Fluorescent Adolescent" is a close competetor..

the redwalls used to be so great. this just isn't on par with their older material or their older live shows. it's actually disappointing how they've almost turned into a second rate strokes. they're so much better, too.

i really don't hear the strokes in their music. i hear more beatles inspiration. the only thing about them that sounds strokes-y is the simplicity of their music and the fact that the bass plays a very key role in the music.

other than that i don't see it.

not an original bone? they wrote the chord pattern, they wrote the melody, they wrote the harmony, how is that not original? there hasnt been a band since the 1960s that understands music theory...instead of picking up an instrument and playing whatever they want they actually learned about the depths of music

Correct, they got dropped because of the mergence with Virgin, alot of bands were dropped if they werent making millions upon millions of dollars. Luckily the redwalls had the rights to their last LP, and then signed with the MAD DRAGON a student run company from Philly- Drexel University.
