  • Still impressed after all the years...loved that machine sooo much!

  • Well, it has quite nice graphix and sonix, but such advanced 3D-engine for the 8-bit computer has already been shown in the Atari demo "NUMEN" - 7 years earlier ... :P

  • Holi Sheet. this is unbelievable c64 demo

  • I am stunned! That this was done on a C=64 is beyond belief!

    Amazing, amazing work.

  • It'd be nice if some of these demo maker groups put this much effort into developing new games for the C64. Using these programming techiniques that push the C64 to it's limit and beyond.

  • Respect! It's impressive!

  • I just bitmapped in my pants.

  • whats with the colors? is this a PAL video?

  • Phenomenal :-)

  • awesome !!!

  • R€$P£CT !

    C64 is immortal.

  • 3:12 Holy crap its Cthulhu! Just shows theres still a lot of potential in the C64. Hard to believe this is possible!

  • back in 1990, when I started to code the C64, I thought a demo like this was next to impossible.. and I still wonder how they make things.

  • SIERPINSKI, even ...

  • 1:15 SIEPINSKI Z00m0r

  • menger, you tool.

  • @Hateworker:

Menger sponges are the 3D versions in my book.

What I see in this blasting demo is a zoom on a Sierpinski Carpet.

  • fuuuuuck! boozerz did it again! dane rulez! awesome design, great soundtrack, killer cubetwister at start! loved it! thanx tons a lot

  • Sweet graphics. If they added a gun and some beasts it woulda been the rave of the day. Eat your heart out Tandy's Squishi Bear!!! mwahaha!

  • It doesn't work on my real C64. :(

After the yellow line pushed off the BASIC screen nothing more happens : all I get is a black screen.

Someone knows what's the problem ?

I run the demo as a mounted D64 on an MMC Replay.

  • You can't run demos/games that consist of more than one PRG-file with MMC Replay. That might be it.

  • Schnitz1 is right, it might not be able to deal with the real time loader.. use a real disk drive.. or an emulator ..

  • @Galaad1 you need to use a real 1541 drive, or a 100% compatible replacement, such as the 1541U.

  • @mrsid6581

Thanks. And if I remember well, it is possible to write a D64 on a real floppy, using the MMC Replay. :)

    Ouch... where's that doc yet?

  • Genius, but i like Industrial Breakdown by booze design more, it's more Art and music is unbeatable there.

  • Simply awesome.

  • O M G !

  • POWER !!!!

    greetz,

madbart / appendix , an oldie and un-active amiga group.

  • sweet!

  • congrats!

    vigo/bronx^trsi

  • The filled vector part in this demo really makes my on-going labyrinth game in "Eye of the Beholder" style for the C64 look very oldish :)

Great gfx, great song and excellent code!

  • Top level ! Really well done. New ideas, great polished. Keep it up !

  • 64k rules :) !

  • This demo really blew my pants off!

    Masterpiece!

  • Cool

  • C64 seems to do everything in the hands of demosceners!

  • Booze/Instinct cooperation is so coool!

I wonder what they come up with together for X 2010 !!

    cool demo dudes!
