This show, and shows like this highlight the best of my childhood and shine a spotlight on just how much utter crap is on television for kids these days no matter the network. At least Nickelodeon wised up and started re-airing their 90s tv line-up.
Haha I totally agree with all of you. I miss old Disney when shows actually required thought and imagination. Now its either sex, violence, or repeats of the same kids shows that tell you the answers to all of their annoying questions. Whatever happened to shows like this one and Kid's Incorporated, Family Matters, The Elephant show....shows with a mind behind them?
Back when times were slow enough that end credits ran through to the end...no warp-speed fast forwarded credits or obnoxious voiceover of what was up next. No sense of hurry or care, just like childhood. Loved this show.
Does anyone remember the episode where Kirby says something like, "Will you marry me, Dortothy Jane?" And then she says, "Probably," and rolls her eyes. I always thought that was one of the best scenarios to sum up their relationship. She wants to get out of Pyramid Corners, but she's terrified that she'll be stuck there and marry someone like him.
