THANK GOD FOR THE GOVERNMENTS OF RWANDA AND CUBA. THE PEOPLE OF THOSE COUNTRIES WOULD BE EVIL CAPITALISTS AND MISTREAT EACH OTHER IF NOT FOR THEIR GOVERNMENTS. LOL
"I really like this part. I think the priest makes an incredible amount of sense. I just wish however we could live in a world where people realised all these things without necessarily the need to depend upon a god or a book to tell them..."
I couldn't agree more. Unfortunately his words are a stark contrast to what the 'good book' actually teaches. It's only when religious people become hypocrites that they begin to sound like sane humanitarians. Great video BTW.
I'm getting sick and tired of hearing people make statements like "you're either capitalist, socialist, bla bla". It's getting annoying. What I do is take what works from each different "dogma" or "system", so for making computer- "capitalism"...Emergency services- "socialist"...We need to move out of this black and white view of the world.
@therock27374 Socialist systems use money, and capitalist systems have public services. I think you're referring more to communism and fascism if you're thinking that the systems are in no way balanced, or nuanced.
However the argument is; how far towards the left or the right is "best"? very subjective
"What I do is take what works from each different "dogma" or "system"". Thats what everybody in the world does, however people disagree on what works best for each scenario.
@SuxorAoeBj I completely agree. I think I would be right saying that the word "socialism" in America is deemed by many to be pretty much equivalent to "evil", evoking cold war memories etc. Perhaps a slight exaggeration on my part, but its clear that the interpretation towards "socialism" is very different in Europe than it is in N. America, specifically the USA.
I'd certainly be interested to hear the views from Americans on this point. Agree/disagree?
@journeyer58 Thank you!! I have been incredibly amazed and delighted that so many people have understood and appreciated this series thus far. Awesome! Makes you proud to be a human!!! Peace
I like the background music.

The background music that you have going on, that techoy beat. That's really annoying and makes everything else harder to hear.

@therock27374
That topic pisses me off as well: for example-
i find good ideas in socialism, and disagree with the rest;
i find good ideas in capitalism, and disagree with the rest;
So i'd rather vote for the certain small objective problems, than on some rigid bulky system.
Because water doesn't flow socialistic or capitalistic way...

What one would consider 'leftist' in the United States is seen as moderate - perhaps even leaning slightly to the right - in most European countries.
