One of his most beautiful songs. Everything he sang came from a place deep within him. I wonder what fears he had as a child. He wasn't able to confide in his father. Oh, what a difficult life he had. Yes, he was the most famous human being on the planet and possibly one of the wealthiest entertainers who ever lived. But....what an painful price he payed. Tha moon is a metaphore Michael is using in this song representing unfounded childhood fears _ they subconciously carry the fear with them as they grow up and miss out on the beauty of life. _ conquer your fears _ dont be afraid :)

This song has such a pure and mystical quality to it, like when I listen to MJ recite his "Planet Earth" poem. I could literally listen to Michael talk and sing all day long and never get tired of hearing his serene and soothing voice. When I close my eyes and just lay back, I feel as if I am floating through the air and all of my cares and worries just seem to disappear into thin air.

I bet that MJ used to sing this lovely lullaby to his children each night before he tucked them in for bed.

As far as I know, he wrote it for a charity (I cannot recall the charity's name). The song is later included in "Michael Jackson - The Ultimate Collection".
