Personally, I believe any group that puts out an album ("Album") for the sole purpose of pissing their fans off; well that's tops for me. Really? PiL fan here for over 20 years, and Album is my favorite album by them. They made music to annoy and tear the eardrums of non fans, and we get the same for the fans themselves with "Album". Brilliant. Nice Try, John.

PiL ended after this record came out. PiL was First Issue,Metal Box/Second Edition, and Flowers of Romance. John should have simply renamed the band to something else after Flowers of Romance. His albums afterwards were embarrassing. In fact, whenever I tell people I like PiL, I make sure to emphasize "EARLY PiL."
