I think Tupac is def better. Now, Biggie was good, don't get me wrong. I just think that tupac had more meaningful lyrics. For example, Keep Ya Head Up, as you had mentioned... When I got pregnant with my first son, I was 16 and just got over a car accident which left my left arm immoble. That song, when I listened to it, would just bring my spirits up. Everything that Tupac had was meaningful.. So therefore, I think he is better than Biggie. I grew up on Tupac.

Pac is the best rapper of all time. ALL Eyes on Me , Me Against the WOrld and Makavelli were the only albums Pac himself released...and those were all classics, as u mentioned. biggie was a more skilled lyricist when it came 2 clever wordplay. in a hypothetical rap battle, biggie would kill tupac. but tupac was a more versatile rapper. he could touch on any subject in a song and make it sound good. people from all walks of life could relate 2 his music. i dont think its fair 2 ask who is better unless u specify what " better " is exactly. biggie had more lyrical skills and tupac was more versatile. both are all time greats.

I think biggie is the best First off he only made 2 albums and is on the majority of everyones top5 rapper of all time. AND!! he only had 2 ligit albums that were absolutely fabulous. I think biggie beat tupac in freestyling and lyrical content and probably makin ppl bumb their heads...but I think Tupac was the Best cuz....he focused more on the important things in life....stuff that actually mattered at the end of the day.....sometimes inspirational, uplifting.....thought provoking.....poetic....ah mean...there are schools using his poems.....he was almost a genius of a rapper....

i personally am a biggie fan, because i didnt grow up listening to tupac also, both theyre careers were tragically cut short and i dont think they can be held as the greatest rappers when others are still making music, i mean yeah, they will be up in the top 10 of greats, but i dont think its fair to give them all the shine when, other great lyricists are making better music.

The reason I like Biggie is because he told his story and you can relate to everything that he was saying in his story. Its like Biggie was giving you the full view of his life in his story. I have never heard another rapper tell there story in their songs as much as Biggie. And Biggie was raw and gritty with it.

Comparing Tupac and Biggie is like comparing Apples and Oranges. But I will say that the way Biggie told stories about being in the hood and the way he expressed the struggles and everything was just on a whole another level I had never heard that from a rapper. To me thats what makes a Great MC Storytelling. Biggie had the grittyness and raw with it. It really doesn't matter if Biggie had 2 classic albums. Every song on the albums are straight fire. I think Tupac is def better. Now, Biggie was good, don't get me wrong. I just think that tupac had more meaningful lyrics. For example, Keep Ya Head Up, as you had mentioned... When I got pregnant with my first son, I was 16 and just got over a car accident which left my left arm immoble. That song, when I listened to it, would just bring my spirits up. Everything that Tupac had was meaningful.. So therefore, I think he is better than Biggie. I grew up on Tupac.
