@Castaka12 because it's a "gas" powered rifle, you don't need to pull the bolt back all the way since there is no shell to eject. He only needs to pull the bolt back a little to cycle the next BB and cock the system.

@china0090 different gun; the Maruzen/Marushin (can't remember which) and the DBoys clone of it are shell ejectors, this is the Tanaka, which is gas powered and is not shell ejecting.

1.5 Joules with 0.2gm BBs = roughly 400FPS.

2.6 Joules with 0.2gm BBs = roughly 530FPS.

That would be right for the US, but not the UK...

@TheAirsoftmadman The only Kar 98 for that cheap is the DBoys version, which isn't very good, and is pretty much unusable in skirmishes as it is a shell ejecting gun.

The Tanaka version that H uses in this video is going to be quite a bit more than £200...

@thebluecow24 sharpshooter should be on the back of theirs brothers-in-arms and give him support from distance. If H has ~550FPS I think that his effective range is about 100 meters - its very much in airsoft.

I hate how games nowadays make guns like the Kar98K look obsolete.

If you play COD WAW you may think the MP40 is a really freaking good gun or something, but actually, the rifles are 5 times more accurate, and a few times stronger, so in most cases a rifle is better than a machine gun.
