When a man dies, and is leaving behind three daughters, his two parents and his wife, they will receive the respective shares of 2/3 for the 3 daughters together, 1/3 for the parents together [both according to verse 4:11] and 1/8 for the wife [4:12] which adds up to more than the available estate.

@PhoeniciaJones Actually it comes from culturally based xenophobia - the xenophoia is a remnant of times when the world wasnt one global community [which it became in the last few hundred years]. The more people stick to and define themselves by the religion, the more they are pulled towards the past, and most extremists tend to be fundamentalists - be it creationists or jihadists. Thats how there is hate.

Quran is a guide and a warning to disbelievers read some of it and if you can't do that just take some chapters of the Website and read it and do tell me what it says.
