it's a clasical dieselproduced in the early 90" so starting at -15 sith or without smoke proves it's a good one

its a bit splutery you should always pull out the cold start leaver when its very cold in the morning when it starts put it back in after a minute or so i had a vw jetta a 1986 never started on a cold day untill i discoverd the cold start leaver she started bang on every morning
