templars are awesome... glads cant touch us, chanters can but most of the time we win, clerics can but it is a very good fight ( most of the time,lol) assassins cant,SM's can( they normaly destroy us...), sorc's sometimes can depending on who it is.. but overall templars are awesome

the diference was you have bad armor, glads are too better than templar at that lvl

Templars are very powerful, and their armor buff is gay (i hate it)

Spiritmasters can take templars down easily :D and that's just great

Sorcerer's can beat Templars too but not as fast as sm's

Clerics can beat templars, but Can easily go down if the templar is pro

Gladiators, personally i don't think thy can beat Templars

Chanters can beat Templars

Assassins Cannot beat Templars XD

Rangers can beat Templars, but takes alot of time!

and templars vs templars is a gay fight :P

LOL what unrealwaster said. A gladiator is no match for a templar on level 30, so using the bow so the gladiator wasnt able to hit him at some points was a good Idea.

But at level 30 gladiator his skills arent enough to take down an HP specced Templar anyway ^_^ Archer might have trouble with that as well. Sorc would be a nice match vs a templar =)

Obviously the glad in this video doesn't know what he's doing. He doesn't take into account that strafing and shooting lowers your damage big time. And yeah, why is he using a bow?!

Are temps this survivable at the lower levels. Like 10-20 I have a warrior and I'm not sure what class to role.

Well not at lvl10-20, but also it depends on what manastones you stack, In this case this templar stacked +HP stones... on my 32 templar I stacked phys crit stones and have a 400 crit rate on a templar

Templar's are monsters i'm not going to lie. My glad has lots of trouble dealing with one, and once you've started fighting one its pretty difficult to get away since they get IJ. Templar's don't do very good dps true, but they last long enough to whittle you away faster than you can to do them usually. Only thing templar might have trouble with is rangers and ranged casters, but even then if a temp can IJ him in range and get a stun off, it won't take long for him to take a caster down as well.

Looks like Templar has more tricks up his sleeve than Gladiator, which is more of a one-trick pony class. I'd like to do big dps, but I think I'll go with Templar for the utility. Plus, I'd like to start tanking some instanced PvE for once.

you wont be sayinf that gladiator is a one trick pony at lvl 50, where this class gets godlike damage. i mean godlike......yes godlike. the adv stigma and the DP skills are unbeleivably powerfull.

Aion is seperated as 2 worlds, the only way for both faction(elyos and asmodian) to meet is via the Abyss or rifts. Rifts are soft of like portals that open in different maps of each side which makes you able to cross over the other side. it's like going to the abyss but with the elyos or asmodian map.

34 because most skills start to finaly do real dmg and get usefull skill,lvl 28 gladiators get stigma skill called Ankle Snare, which hold your enemy 10 sec and reduce his evasion by alot.

Wrong, it only lasts 2 minutes, I confirm. If you looked at it on AionArmory, the information there is false.

well, from what i saw teplar is a nasty MF, even at 35-36...look around youtube for templar pvp vids...i like the glad, but from what i see, the damage is more or less the same as templar (pvp-wise), but the glad is easier to kill. glads advantage are the knockdowns and aoe. what bugs me, that in pve i'd be required to tank as a templar (not my cup of tea)

Yes I dealt nearly as much dmg to the templar that he did to me, thats fine since hes a templar thu. However, I deal far more dmg to other classes than he can, not to mention I have weapon freedom while he is stuck with melee swords only.

thats my point, you deal more damage than him, its just he has empyrean on. Plus against other classes they can kite him easily as he don't have much disable at all, where as a glad has a few disables, and also has knockdowns, which at higher levels when you got 440 crit trigger a heap

well, i'm going glad for the release, got mine to 25 in CBT6 and the class started to grow on me from 22 upwards when i equipped the stigma for attacking a knocked down target (crap, forgot the name, CBA to look it up on armory)

*Trolling* Wat u doing Naj lol, you bow so up close the templar was hitting you, bow when you have ankle snare up son, cuz it triggers block and if he was hitting you anyway, you might as well just hit him back with polearm. Good vid :p

nice vid man....now i'm toying with the idea of rolling a templar....the main point is they are very hard to kill in pvp and still are a formidable opponent. i have a 22 glad and a 22 chanter in CBT and prolly gonna test out the templar. i'm still unsure what to roll on release tho :(

You can watch my rift raid video. Of course, a lot of factors are missing such as aerial combat, but its still a good show of what a decent glad does :)

Some people persist to say you will regret ur choice when reaching endgame level, and that Templar is more powerful than Glad. Assumptions based off the Chosun Tournament, mostly I think. However, I can confirm that you'll be much more powerful in group than any Templar at lvl20-30.
