I was in Vancouver last week and am sad to report that that pier burned. The whole damn thing... I was really disappointed because I had hoped to get some good pictures of the city from that spot. I talked to a few city workers who said that it just burned the week before, but they didn't know what caused it. But the good news is I just checked Vancouver's parks websight and the bidding is open for the repair work.
